Risks of Salmonella in pet food
Humans who handle infected pet products run the danger of contracting salmonella, particularly if they haven't completely cleansed their hands after coming into touch with the products or any surfaces they may have come into contact with. Salmonella can also damage animals that consume the products.
When infected with Salmonella, healthy individuals should keep an eye out for any or all of the following symptoms: fever, cramping in the abdomen, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In rare cases, Salmonella can cause more serious illnesses like endocarditis, arthritis, muscle soreness, eye irritation, urinary tract symptoms, and arterial infections.
After using this product, consumers who show these symptoms ought to get in touch with their doctors. Salmonella infections in pets can cause vomiting, fever, diarrhea, or bloody diarrhea, as well as lethargy. Some pets will just have heat, stomach pain, and decreased appetite. Healthy pets that are carriers of the infection may infect humans or other animals. Please get in touch with your veterinarian if your pet has consumed the recalled product and is exhibiting these signs.
